Emphasis on Technique & Movement

The FA
views Futsal as a high quality format of a small sided game & in total
accordance with his goals & youth development policy.
Many countries that we admire for
the technical skills of their players use Futsal
as an aspect of youth development. Ball retention, quick and skillful play,
tactical awareness – are all promoted in Futsal.
Fairplay: The laws of the game and an accumulated fouls rule discourages teams
from being overly physical or disputing the decisions of the two referees.
Famous Quotes on Futsal
“In Futsal, you see whether a player is really
talented... you notice the small details in quality, class and tactical
understanding”
XAVI HERNANDEZ –
BARCELONA
“Everything I
had as a Brazilian player I owed it to Futsal.”ZICO
“Futsal is how I
really got started. This is my love, the thing that I enjoyed the most.”
RONALDO -
REAL MADRID
“I played Futsal growing up in Baurd. In Futsal
you need to think quick and play quick so it’s easier for you when you move to
normal football.”
PELE
“A
lot of the moves I make originate from Futsal. It's played in a very small
space, and the ball control is different. And to this day my ball control is
pretty similar to a Futsal player's control.”
